Felfner Triumphs at Continental Tour Stage
Felfner commenced the 2026 summer season with a win at the Ukrainian Athletics Throwing Cup, achieving a mark of 76.88 meters. In his subsequent competition in the Czech Republic, the Josef Odložil Memorial, the Ukrainian enhanced his performance to 80.27 meters.
In Finland, Felfner competed in a Continental Tour event. Initially, the athlete threw 77.24 meters, ranking second in that round behind Finn Oliver Helander (78.67 meters). With his next throw, the Ukrainian updated his season’s personal best with an 81.64-meter effort.

By the end of the competition, other throwers were unable to surpass this mark; however, Felfner himself did, executing a throw of 83.11 meters and claiming the “gold.” The silver medal was awarded to the reigning world champion, Trinidadian athlete Keshorn Walcott, with a throw of 81.41 meters.
